Pacific Textile Arts in Fort Bragg, California, has been the continuous sponsor. PTA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the fiber arts.

Vicki's sponsors are directly responsible for providing her with materials, equipment, labor, and emergency funds. All donations made to Pacific Textile Arts specifying the California Rug Project are tax deductible, and are much appreciated. The rug is ready to travel around the State to meet the people, tell the story of California, and the threads that tie California to the Amazons of the Altai Mountains of Central Asia.
